How to mass update contact information

Bijgewerkt op 15 jun 2020

Bulk update allows you to change personal details for a large group of contacts, activities, sales, projects, and more – all in just a few clicks.

By using Bulk update you are able to update personal data of all the companies and contacts that are currently stored in your SuperOffice CRM database.

The Bulk Update feature is available in the Selection screen, but also inside the Company, Sale, and Project screens.

How to update consent

You can use the Bulk update feature to update all contacts in your CRM database with the relevant legal basis and purpose for storing their personal data.

After your database has been upgraded to version 8.2 or higher, or when you have started with a new SuperOffice CRM database, you will see that all contacts automatically get the legal basis: Legitimate interest.

You will also see that out-of-the-box, there are two purposes already created in SuperOffice CRM for you to use, which are:

  • Store for sales and service,
  • E-marketing for marketing purposes.

You can follow our 5 step program to prepare your company for the GDPR to determine which legal bases you wish to use for your customers, prospects and suppliers. When you have made these decisions, you can manage and update the list containing the legal basis in the Settings and Maintenance module.
