Implementing webhooks to synchronize customer updates with external applications

Hello developers,
We're developing an integration that synchronizes customer information between SuperOffice CRM and our internal ERP system.
Instead of periodically polling the API, we'd like to explore an event-driven approach using webhooks.
Has anyone implemented something similar? We're particularly interested in handling failed notifications, retry mechanisms, and keeping records synchronized.
