How is SharePoint Portal Server different from the Site Server?

SharePoint Portal Server: Website creation for information sharing and document collaboration is treated as services by SharePoint Portal Server. SharePoint server services are key information worker infrastructure that provides additional functionality to the MS Office system applications. Site Server: It manages websites with multiple technologies. Content management, product management, order processing, and advertisement serving are some of the functionalities.

Community Release 21. Februar 2023

Community Release - 2023-R01   In this release you will be presented for our brand-new Forum. We have done a completely overhaul to make it easier to use and track what you are interested in. We hope you like it.    Here are the release notes: Some of the main areas we have improved: New Forum with better possibilities to get an overview of what is happening inside the different Forums. Instead of only have a list of Forums you needed to scroll through, you now get a better instant overview of what is happening in the different Forums with the functionality "Latest activities". We have also added filtering capabilities and lists like "My favorites" and "My conversations". We hope you enjoy our new Forum and find it easier to get an overview of what is happening.   Larger input field in technical blogs When blog writers create text and content in technical blogs (and Parliament blogs) the input window has been too small, and it makes it difficult to work with a longer text. We have now enabled a button for larger text area in status bar and also enabled vertical resizing in the lower right corner of the text area.    Bugfixes Remove the Expected Release date in Product Releases because this field does not make sense when the product is released Several tabs opened in Chrome browser when when we click a bug from a Bugs & Wishes Too many tabs open when we click a bug from a bugs and wishes in Chrome browser  Image width in article page fixed   For Editors When a change is made, the updated date of the information document pages is not updated YouTube Video indexing job Failing issue

Missing udef field / mapping in mirror DB

am trying to locate a specific userdefined field ('Klar til match') in our mirror database. It pertains to the entity  Project , so I am looking at the following tables: dbo.project (1), udprojectsmall (2), udprojectlarge (3).  Below is a screendump of a specific project: When I look in the mirror database I expect to be able to see the field in the udprojectsmall table (2) The field I am looking for is of the datatype date, yet the udprojectsmall table only contains datatypes int, nvarchar and flot.  I seem to recall that there is a way to calculate which userdefined field in a specific field corresponds to the progid that you see in the frontend. If this post is not posted in the correct forrum, kindly redirect me to the correct one.   Hoping someone can help me figure this out! Best regards,

Archive Provider Support in SuperOffice 10.1

We use Archive Providers and since upgrading to 10.1.2.1565 these have stopped working even though we have re-compiled the code with the latest DLLs. Whenever we try to use them, we see the following error (only if the provider contains data)   Looking at the request that fails, I can see that this is the problem:     Please could you advise how we can resolve this, if possible; or is this functionality no longer supported? Cheers

Format date variables

Hi all 1. In the quote document (not details) there is a date variable, and I would like the date format to be in English, instead of Danish, i.e. October 13, 2022. I have used the variable {date} and saved the document templade with the language "English". But when a Danish user chooses the document template because he wants to make a quote for an English customer, the date format is still in Danish, i.e. "13. oktober 2022". Which factors affects the language? I thought that it was the language the template was saved in. I have looked through the list with variables related to the document dialog and have only found the date variable in short format {sdat}. Is that the only solution? In the quote document template I prefer the dates to be in the long format, because it looks better! Is there a way/variable where I can tell the system, that all the content in the document should be converted to English? 2. In the quote details document I have another date issue. The proposal date {sdat} is the short date, which looks nice in the table, with only limited space, but the variable for the quote expiry date is a long date format, which looks silly when the date above is in another format. Do we have the variable for teh exp. date in another format? I prefer short format for the details document because of the limited space. How do you solve this issue with templates used in different language? Hope for your feedback :)

The good news. Once it is working "as expected", you don't have to do any more updates on such a field. Good luck!! Great to be a hero for once.... ;)
